About Wonderscape Academy
Wonderscape Academy is a voice-guided school where every lesson is an adventure. Students step through glowing portals into 3D realms, meet a guide character, explore, and answer by speaking, tapping or typing. It comes from the same family as Aetherion, Chronoscape and Ruinscape.
Version 1.0 is for Voyagers, grades 3–5. Aetherion, the headmaster, welcomes each student at the campus hub.
The four realms
Willow Whisperleaf tells an original story. Students use context clues, find the main idea and retell it in their own words.
Bolt Brassby needs help repairing the Star Lantern Machine with equivalent fractions on a tap-to-fill fraction bar.
Captain Juniper Vale takes students to December 17, 1903 at Kitty Hawk for the Wright brothers' first flight: who, what, where, when and why.
Nova Starling follows one water drop around a 3D Earth through evaporation, condensation, precipitation and collection.
Quests in version 1.1: Story Grove: The Lantern Seeds (context clues and main idea) and Figurative Friends (similes, metaphors and personification). Number Forge: The Star Lantern Machine (equivalent fractions) and The Sky Garden (area and perimeter). Time Gate: First Flight, December 17, 1903 and Moon Landing, July 20, 1969. Earth & Sky: Journey of a Water Drop (the water cycle) and The Matter Lab (solids, liquids and gases).
Each quest takes about 10 minutes. It has an intro, then checkpoints with friendly hints, then a "show what you know" finale and a badge. Lessons are written to match common grade 3–5 standards (Common Core ELA and Math, the C3 social studies framework, and NGSS).
Privacy: nothing is stored
- There are no accounts, sign-ups, cookies, analytics or trackers.
- The first name or nickname you give stays only in the open browser tab. Badges and progress live in page memory and disappear when you close or reload the tab.
- Nothing you type or say is saved or sent to our server. The guides follow written scripts. They are not a chatbot.
- Guide voices use your device's built-in speech. The microphone button is optional and only listens when you tap it. In some browsers, such as Chrome, the browser's own speech service may process the audio to turn it into text. Typing and tapping always work instead.
Roadmap
- Now (1.1): grades 3–5, four realms with two quests each, keyboard and screen-reader support.
- Next: more quests per realm, a parent view and printable lesson sheets.
- Then: Explorers (grades 6–8) and a teacher dashboard.
- Then: Sprouts (K–2), with picture-first and listen-first quests.
- Then: Navigators (grades 9–12) and tools for schools, built with COPPA and FERPA-compliant privacy.
